Shipping Coordinator
Location: Denton, TX
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Shipping Coordinator to join the team in Denton, TX. The ideal candidate will have shipping and warehouse experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and excellent communication abilities. This position involves coordinating shipments, communicating with customers and carriers, and assisting with general warehouse duties as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Communicate with customers, carriers, and delivery services regarding shipment status and scheduling.
- Prepare shipping documents and maintain accurate records.
- Utilize Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Track shipments and resolve delivery issues when necessary.
- Assist with inventory and warehouse operations.
- Perform general labor duties in the warehouse as needed.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous shipping, logistics, or warehouse experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking on the phone with customers and couriers.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to perform general warehouse duties, including lifting and moving materials as needed.
