As an Information Technology Team Leader, you will oversee a team dedicated to managing and enhancing IT operations within the organization. Your role involves utilizing core skills in computer hardware and remote access software to ensure efficient system performance. Your premium skills in organizational management and proficiency in Microsoft Office will be essential in coordinating projects and team activities. Additionally, your knowledge of CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Security+ certifications, along with relevant expertise in quantum engineering, will support the advancement of our technological capabilities.

Available Shift

  • 1st shift 7am-4:30 pm Must be flexible

Responsibilities

  • Performs basic and moderately complex troubleshooting and repair activities, typically associated in an end-user environment, including but not limited to PC’s, desktops and laptops.
  • Develop or enhance procedures, policies, and standards to achieve department goals.
  • Strong knowledge of remote desktop connectivity applications and Windows Native tools.
  • Timely response to clients’ escalations and if necessary, ensure that issues are transferred to the proper departments.
  • Monitoring ticket queues to ensure timely notes and proper tickets closure.
  • Understand and follow all documented service operations policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that the IT techs meet established customer service satisfaction levels and other operational/customer service metrics as outlined in established guidelines.
  • Display outstanding technical and professional services skills at all times.

Education

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology or IT related fields of study or any combination of technical education, certification and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Experience

  • 2 Years: Computer hardware & software maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting
  • 2 Years: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites
  • 2 Years: Experience with ticketing systems
  • Certification (CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ etc.) is a plus
  • Microsoft certified in Windows 7, 8.x, or 10 is a plus
  • Candidate must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills including follow through to job completion
  • Proven track record of working in a team environment and autonomously
