OnTrack Staffing has partnered with our client in on their search for a Forklift Operator/ Clamp Attachment in ELLABELL GA.
Job Description Summary:
Responsible for operating a clamp lift truck, ensuring that product and supplies are transported properly and according to specifications. This opportunity is focused on developing your skills for long-term success with our client. Must have at least 6 months recent experience using a clamp attachment.
Responsibilities:
· Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures. Must take immediate action to correct and/or report any unsafe conditions and hazards.
· Complete pre-shift OSHA inspection and related paperwork on forklift truck; clean truck as outlined in procedure.
· Follow all PPE policies, wearing safety vests, etc. as required.
· Pull finished products in production areas and transport to assigned staging area.
· Operate forklift safely and efficiently while following all safety policies and procedures.
· Use RF Scanner to pick orders from inventory.
· Responsible for filling propane tank on forklift safely and while following all protocols.
· Minimize waste of product.
· Meet/achieve production goals set forth by management.
· Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
Candidate Requirements:
· High school diploma, GED, or applicable work experience
· One to three years of experience driving a forklift using a clamp attachment
· Ability to do basic math
· Ability to operate RF scanner system; previous experience preferred
· Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in English
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work
· Excellent attendance at current or previous employment is a MUST
· Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
