Position Summary
Client  manufactures custom window shades and blinds using a combination of automated equipment and manual assembly. 
This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, working in a team environment, and learning multiple production processes.


Departments & Job Duties
Production
Employees may perform duties such as:

  • Assemble custom window shades and blinds.
  • Roll fabric for production.
  • Use a rubber mallet and other hand tools.
  • Package finished products.
  • Apply labels to completed orders.
  • Read and follow standard work instructions.
  • Match part numbers and product numbers accurately.
  • Perform quality inspections throughout the production process.

Aluminum Department
Employees may:

  • Process aluminum components used in window shade systems.
  • Measure, inspect, and prepare materials.
  • Maintain company quality standards.

Shipping & Dispatch
Employees may:

  • Package finished products.
  • Label customer orders.
  • Verify order accuracy.
  • Prepare products for shipment.

Equipment Used
Employees may work with:

  • Automated production equipment
  • Robotic manufacturing systems
  • Cutting machines
  • Packaging equipment
  • Rubber mallets
  • Hand tools

Although much of the manufacturing process is automated, employees should expect to perform manual assembly throughout the shift.


Work Environment

  • Clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility.

  • Employees are cross-trained and rotate between departments based on production needs.
  • Combination of robotic manufacturing and manual assembly.
  • Continuous standing and walking throughout the shift.

Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to:

  • Stand and walk for 8–12 hours.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Push, pull, bend, twist, and reach throughout the shift.
  • Perform repetitive hand movements.
  • Wear required PPE, including:
    • Safety glasses
    • Hearing protection.

Team lifting is available when additional assistance is needed.


Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should have:

  • Previous manufacturing or production experience (preferred).
  • Ability to understand and follow English work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately match numbers.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Dependable attendance.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn multiple departments.
