We are looking for an experienced Procurement Coordinator.

Location: Lewisville, TX
Salary: $30,000 to $55,000 yearly
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Position Summary:
The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for executing procurement activities and supporting standard inventory practices to ensure the efficient acquisition and management of power management equipment and components. This role coordinates with internal teams and external suppliers to meet operational requirements and contribute to special projects across the organization.

 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement activities including sourcing, purchasing, and order tracking for new, surplus, and used power management equipment and associated components.
  • Maintain standard inventory practices such as stock level monitoring, inventory availability reviews, and cycle count support to ensure material readiness.
  • Coordinate end-to-end procurement processes: issue purchase requisitions, generate and track purchase orders, and support shipping and receiving activities.
  • Evaluate suppliers for quality, cost, lead time, and reliability; maintain vendor records and assist with onboarding.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (engineering, operations, finance) to understand procurement needs, project timelines, and material specifications.
  • Monitor inventory to identify restocking needs and help optimize stock levels through bundling, consolidated purchasing, or usage analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement and inventory activities including receipts, adjustments, and documentation for audit readiness.
  • Assist in identifying cost savings opportunities by analyzing spend data and supplier performance.
  • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and proper handling of materials.
  • Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives involving procurement, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams including CIPS, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement and inventory practices with operational objectives.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting on procurement status, inventory concerns, and supplier issues to relevant stakeholders.
