Position Title: Operator II
Position Summary
Under limited supervision, the Operator II performs a variety of production-related tasks of varying complexity to support manufacturing operations. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow established procedures, and proficiency in assembling and testing electronic components.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assemble electronic components in accordance with product specifications and work instructions.
- Document critical product data, including damage, missing parts, model numbers, and revision/date codes.
- Enter product information into the shop floor control system, when applicable.
- Perform routine and repetitive setup of production test equipment and conduct basic tests.
- Handle fragile and delicate components with care and precision.
- Use small hand tools and power tools to assemble and/or install components following specified
- sequences and procedures.
- Apply knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the assigned field.
- Perform job functions by following instructions and established guidelines.
- Assist with training and mentoring new employees as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Work Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in the field or in a related role preferred
