Maintenance Technician
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to support a small manufacturing facility in the Oklahoma City area. This role is responsible for general building upkeep, preventative maintenance on select machinery, and maintaining an organized, safe work environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and able to work independently once trained.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic household and business upkeep, including:
- Painting
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Minor electrical work
- Carpentry tasks
- Basic HVAC maintenance and support
- Conduct preventative maintenance on select machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Assist with inventory management, including:
- Organizing palletized goods
- Rotating inventory using FIFO principles
- Keeping maintenance and storage areas clean and orderly
- Monitor facility conditions and report larger repair needs
- Follow safety procedures and maintenance best practices
- Coordinate with outside vendors or contractors as needed
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, maintenance, and general repair work
- Good with hands and comfortable working with tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance is preferred
- Ability to stay organized and manage inventory-related tasks
- Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision once the job is understood
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and climbing
