OnTrack Staffing has partnered with our client in on their search for a AutoCad candidate.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Create and revise detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for manufacturing projects.
- Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and technical documents to produce accurate designs.
- Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and other departments to ensure design feasibility.
- Maintain and update drawing files and documentation in accordance with company standards.
- Assist in prototyping, design modifications, and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and quality requirements.
- Support manufacturing operations by providing technical drawings and documentation for production
Skills Needed:
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor)
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or mechanical design drafting
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and tolerances
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Educational & Work Requirements:
- Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing drafting or CAD design
