We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled individual for the Machine Operator II position on our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and testing components or finished products in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires a commitment to quality, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures. .

Machine Operator Key Responsibilities

  • Assist multiple team members in the assembly of components or finished products according to established work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Identify and report any defective materials, tools, or processes to the supervisor or quality control team.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including completed work and any issues encountered.
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
  • Meet daily production targets and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Keep workstations organized and equipment well-maintained.
  • Maintain certification on multiple skills and be capable of working at multiple production lines to ensure flexible production capabilities.
  • Lead the performance of daily equipment and quality checks.
  • Perform critical operations on SMT line to ensure stable operations.
  • Review equipment parameters to ensure machines are ready for operation.
  • Be capable of operating all SMT machines for assembly of product.

Qualifications

  • High school level or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing or similar production environments.
  • Experience in the operation of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machines.
  • Understanding of electronic components and assembly processes.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to new challenges.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions.
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to undergo new training and certifications for assigned areas.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and meet production deadlines.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods
