Description: Sorting and inspecting product from each machine, trimming plastic parts as required, counting, labeling and packaging. Depending on the type of part being produced, operators may be attending to more than one machine running automatically, or may be operating a single machine requiring inserts to be installed or parts to be removed from the machine manually. In addition, many parts may require secondary operations, including; running a drill press, building small assemblies, creating multi-count sealed packages, operating a small sonic welding machine or hot-stamp printing machine, and use of a variety of hand-tools. Operators are required to document machine downtime and quantities of rejected parts during the production run, help monitor base materials being loaded into the machine to ensure uninterrupted operations, and to notify technicians when problems arise. Operators are required to maintain a neat and clean work environment at all times.
