Description:  We are seeking a PMP Maintenance Tech to become a part of our team! You will be responsible for installing accessories on several brands of vehicles. Position is located in Brunswick, GA. Contact Shann Rishell 912-215-7333 POSITION SUMMARY:Inspect vehicles according to manufacturer’s requirements and according to PDI checklist and updated bulletins. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: •Perform interior checks for fit and finish, electrical and mechanical inspections of accessories and lights. •Perform exterior inspection for body damage or poor fit. •Complete PDI Check sheet and other paperwork in an efficient and thorough manner. •Inspects the exterior paintwork for defects or damages. •Must be able to work one on one with the manufacturer. •Must be able to wet sand, high-speed buff and polish vehicles. •Must be able to do small paint touch-ups. •Must be able to work with detail department on problems found. •Maintain a clean and hazard free work environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety. •Works with an electronic device (Tablet) to perform inspections and note issues on vehicles. •Install accessories according to manufacturer's instructions. •Perform other duties as assigned. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: •Must be DRUG FREE. •High school diploma or GED. •Must have a valid driver's license. •Must have and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge). •Must provide a 3-year Department of Motor Vehicle Report (DMV) with no more than 2 moving violations, no DUI convictions and no Reckless Driving. •Must have his/her own tools. •Must have a general knowledge of automobile components and basic mechanical functions and the ability to make simple repairs and adjustments. •Must have the ability to make judgment calls as to severity of problems and defects. •Ability to read and write. •Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and communicate clear and concise instructions to employees. •Ability to drive both automatic and straight shift vehicles. •Must have reliable transportation to and from work. •Ability to record and verify numbers 17 characters in length. •Ability to function within working conditions and physical requirements as described above. •Ability to work assigned hours. Including overtime and weekends as needed. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to work in tight spaces and congested quarters. Must be able to endure long periods of standing, kneeling and bending. Some heavy lifting is required. Must have high energy level.WORKING CONDITIONS:Exposed to all outdoor elements including heat, cold, rain, insects and other conditions which may exist from time to time.
