Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator for a metal manufacturing company. This position is responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling metal components based on blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, hands-on experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on various metal materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components
- Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, saws, and cutting tools
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with general shop duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous welding and fabrication experience required
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
- Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable and dependable with good attendance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Welding certifications (a plus)
- Experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment
