TIG Welder – Stainless Steel (Biopharmaceutical Equipment Manufacturing)
Pay: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour
Looking for Stainless Steel TIG welders for a client in Fort Worth, TX. This is a manufacturing company specializing in high-purity stainless steel equipment for the biopharmaceutical industry. Company is an ASME Code-certified shop and certify all TIG welders to ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Section IX.
Responsibilities:
- TIG weld stainless steel sheet (7–14 gauge), plate, and tubing
- Perform purge welding on sanitary stainless assemblies
- Produce high-quality welds meeting ASME and biopharma standards
- Read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings
- Maintain clean weld appearance and proper penetration
- Work efficiently while maintaining strict quality standards
- Assist with documentation and quality control processes
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years TIG welding experience (stainless steel required)
- Ability to pass in-house weld test
- Experience with purge welding preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and dimensioned drawings
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- High school diploma or GED required
