Event Laborer – One-Day Tire Collection Event

Job Description
We are seeking dependable Event Laborers for a one-day community tire collection event at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds. Workers will assist with unloading tires from residents’ vehicles and safely loading them onto the back of a semi truck.
This is a physically active, outdoor role requiring teamwork, attention to safety, and a positive attitude while interacting with the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload tires from residents’ vehicles
- Lift, carry, and place tires onto a semi truck
- Work efficiently as part of a team
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- Must be available to work the full shift (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
- Steel-toed boots are required
- Ability to lift and carry heavy tires repeatedly
- Ability to work outdoors for the duration of the event
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
PPE & Safety
- Steel-toed boots required (must be provided by worker)
- All other personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided on-site
