OnTrack Staffing has partnered with our client in on their search for a Shipping/Receiving Associate.
Location: Lewisville, TX
Pay: $18
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipments
- Records shipment data, including weight, charges and space availability
- Receives and unpacks materials and supplies
- Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursements and record- keeping purposes.
- Completes shipping and receiving reports
- Has knowledge of commonly and used concepts, practices and procedures with a particular field
- Relies on instruction sand pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- Reports to the facility operations Manager
Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years experience
- Experience working in a shipping and receiving environment preferred
- Working knowledge of SAP preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft office (WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK AND POWER POINT)
- Must have general PC skills including email, internet and data entry
- Must be able to operate a forklift, vertical circular saw and liquid filled foam packaging
- Must be organized and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment working independently with little or no direction
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and handle parts and equipment
- Must be able to lift and transfer at least 35 pounds without difficulty
