Gainesville, TX | $20.89-$22.39 hourly | Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2am mandatory overtime as needed.
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Oversees the full operation of robotic equipment, including setup, monitoring, light maintenance, and quality inspection. This role ensures parts are processed accurately and safely, with manual trim performed as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
A summary of the essential functions of the position includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Prepare the robot cell for operation by ensuring the work area is clean and free of obstructions.
- Power on and check functionality of robots and cameras.
- Clean the robot camera lens at the start and end of each shift to ensure part alignment accuracy.
- Monitor the robot during operation and perform light troubleshooting as needed.
- Report any unusual robot or cell behavior to the maintenance team promptly.
- Be willing to learn basic troubleshooting techniques to help return robots to working condition.
- Secure parts properly in the fixture prior to starting the robotic trim process.
- Inspect robot-trimmed parts to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Perform manual trim on areas that require touch-up while the robot is operating.
- Maintain accurate records of parts processed through the trim cell.
- Follow all safety protocols when operating or performing maintenance on robotic equipment.
- Observe all company policies and safety regulations.
- Assist with other duties or responsibilities as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical and mechanical knowledge on how to proficiently operate and troubleshoot.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand throughout shift.
- Attentive and safety-focused.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision to meet production standards.
- High school graduate or GED
- Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred
- Previous experience using computers or interface screens.
