Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector II to support and enforce quality standards across engineering, production, sales, and supplier operations. This is a hands-on inspection role ideal for someone with manufacturing quality experience who enjoys detail-oriented work and continuous improvement.
The Quality Control Inspector II plays a key role in ensuring products and processes meet all company and customer quality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform and document quality inspections including:
- Final Inspection
- First Article Inspection
- Incoming Inspection
- In-Process Inspection
- Complete and report findings using Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- File and retrieve approved Material Test Reports (MTRs)
- Maintain traceability of thread gauges with vendors and the machine shop
- Enforce established operating policies and procedures
- Ensure product and process quality are maintained to support continuous improvement initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Proficient with measurement tools, including:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Height gauges
- Pressure gauges
- Working knowledge of Excel, database software, and Microsoft Word
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–3 years of Quality Control inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements
- Experience with Corrective Action Reports (CAR) and Preventive Action Reports (PAR)
- Strong understanding of specifications, blueprints, and inspection methods
