We are looking for a Quality Inspector in Fort Worth TX 76177 . The Quality Inspector is responsible for assuring the quality standards both internally and as specified by the customer. This position will perform sample audits on a variety of devices as well as final inspections on shipments. 

Shift

  • 7am-3:30 pm overtime as needed $16.00

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection, Data Mining for Reporting purposes.
  • Inspect & maintain minimum AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) and IPQC (In Process Quality Control) set by management for technology operations.
  • Final Quality Control inspection of technology shipments; ensuring the accurate amount, type and location of product is being shipped.
  • Sample rate auditing of consumer technology devices to ensure internal and customer standards are being met in each area.
  • Cross-trained in multiple areas.
  • Train new team members in quality control procedures.
  • Communicate, advise and support a team of AQL inspectors.
  • Performing independent audits and inspections with direction from Quality Manager.
  • Follow procedures to identify, isolate, quarantine when a nonconformance is detected.
  • Ongoing communication and strong partnership with all teams in Operations.
  • Provide AQL leadership when / where necessary, in all departments.
  • Professional and positive interaction with Supervisor and other team members.
  • Follow all relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions.

Skills and Specifications Required:

  • Advanced understanding of QC Processes, including Sample Rates and Final Inspections
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to review and understand customer specifications
  • Familiar with most consumer electronic devices (laptops, tablets, cell phones, etc..)
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English verbally and in writing.

  • Basic knowledge of MS Office.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
