The Purchase Specialist is responsible for managing procurement activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality acquisition of materials, components, and services required for Wistron Technologies’ operations. This role focuses on sourcing electronic components, mechanical parts, and related materials from global suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards and international trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Procurement Operations:
o Handle purchasing of electronic components, mechanical parts, and consumables for manufacturing and repair operations.
o Issue and manage purchase orders through ERP systems, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
• Supplier Management:
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers, including those in Asia and North America.
o Evaluate supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery; implement corrective actions when needed.
• Cost Control & Negotiation:
o Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
Monitor market trends for electronic components and raw materials to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Compliance & Documentation:
o Ensure adherence to  procurement policies, ISO standards, and international trade regulations.
o Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements in compliance with audit requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with production, engineering, logistics, and finance teams to align procurement with operational needs.
o Support inventory management and demand planning to avoid shortages or excess stock.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in electronics or manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills with experience in global sourcing.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or similar) and MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred for supplier coordination.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations, import/export processes, and customs compliance.
