The Process Industrial Engineer is responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance. This role focuses on creating standard operating procedures (SOPs), conducting time studies, supporting automation initiatives, and providing training to production teams. The Process IE also plays a key role in customer audits and resolving IE-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for PCBA and FA.
2. Analyze and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
3. Conduct training sessions for operators and supervisors on updated processes and SOPs.
4. Perform time and motion studies to establish standard times for operations.
5. Assist in implementing automation solutions to improve production efficiency.
6. Participate in customer audits and respond to IE-related inquiries and corrective actions.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• SOP Accuracy & Timeliness: 100% of SOPs updated and approved before production changes.
• Process Efficiency: Achieve 3–5% improvement in cycle time per quarter.
• Training Completion: Ensure 100% of production staff trained on new SOPs within 2 weeks of release.
• Standard Time Accuracy: Maintain ±5% variance in time standards during audits.
• Automation Projects: Support at least 2 automation initiatives per year.
• Audit Compliance: Zero major findings related to IE processes during customer audits.
Qualifications:
• Education: Graduated from university or above, major in Industrial Engineering.
• Work Experience: 2–5 years in process engineering or industrial engineering.
• Skills:
o AutoCAD
Time and motion study
o Lean production concepts
o Other digital tools (MES, ERP, BI dashboards) are a plus
o Strong communication and training skills
