The Perishable Freezer Selector is responsible for accurately picking and preparing perishable products (such as refrigerated or frozen items) to fulfill customer orders in a timely and safe manner. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product integrity and meeting customer expectations.
Perishable Freezer Order Selector Shift:
Shift 1C
Sun, Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 1am-9:30am or 4am-12:30pm or 7am-3:30pm
Perishable Order Selector Key Responsibilities:

Accurately select perishable products (refrigerated and/or frozen) using voice pick or RF technology.

Ensure items are correctly labeled, stacked, and secured for transport while maintaining proper temperature zones.

Follow all food safety and quality standards when handling perishable goods.

Operate warehouse equipment, such as electric pallet jacks or forklifts, safely and efficiently.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and report any safety or quality issues.

Meet productivity and accuracy goals as outlined by management.

Work in cold or freezer environments (as low as -200F) for extended periods.
Support general warehouse operations as needed.
Perishable Freezer Order Selector Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous experience in warehouse or food distribution preferred, especially with perishable items.

Ability to lift up to 80 lbs repetitively.

Comfortable working in cold or freezing environments.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Able to meet performance and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
Physical Requirements:

Frequent standing, walking, lifting, reaching, and bending.

Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments including refrigerated (35 0F) and frozen (-20 0F) areas.
