This role is responsible for safely and accurately transferring products from bulk or original packaging into smaller units for efficient picking, storage, or shipping. The associate ensures decanting is performed according to established safety, quality, and OPEX standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform decanting of products from master cases or bulk packaging into smaller units for operational use.

Ensure proper labeling, barcoding, and documentation of all decanted items.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of decan workstations and surrounding areas, following 5S and OPEX principles.

Track and report decanting data (quantities, time, errors, etc.) to support process improvement and inventory accuracy.

Identify and report damaged, mislabeled, or unsafe products and packaging.

Collaborate with Inventory Control, Receiving, and Picking teams to ensure proper flow of decanted items.

Comply with all warehouse safety policies, including PPE usage, product handling procedures, and sanitation standards.

Assist in process audits and provide feedback on ways to streamline decanting tasks.

Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts) as needed and as trained.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous warehouse, production, or decanting experience is a plus.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Basic math and documentation skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
