Maintenance Technician (Bilingual English/Mandarin)

OnTrack Staffing is seeking a bilingual English/Mandarin Maintenance Technician to support one of our clients, a leader in the automotive parts manufacturing industry, located in De Valle, TX. This role is ideal for a motivated technician who is eager to grow their skills and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: $21.00 – $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Overtime as needed; schedule may vary based on business needs
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including water jet machines, ovens, and presses
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability
- Assist with the installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery and systems
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve overall operational efficiency
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging maintenance technologies
- Support and work with PLCs and industrial robotic systems, including ABB, Fanuc, and Yaskawa, as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or relevant certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of electro-pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Experience diagnosing and repairing PLCs and industrial automation equipment preferred
- Familiarity with robotic platforms such as ABB, Fanuc, and Yaskawa highly desirable
- Ability to work safely with PLCs and safety circuit systems
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical schematics and engineering drawings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as required
- Fluency in English required; bilingual English/Mandarin skills strongly preferred
