Maintenance Technician (Bilingual English/Mandarin)
Job Overview
OnTrack Staffing is seeking a bilingual English/Mandarin Maintenance Technician to support one of our clients, a leader in the automotive parts manufacturing industry, located in De Valle, TX. This role is ideal for a motivated technician who is eager to grow their skills and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: $21.00 – $30.00 per hour
Schedule:

  • 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Overtime as needed; schedule may vary based on business needs

 


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including water jet machines, ovens, and presses
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability
  • Assist with the installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery and systems
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve overall operational efficiency
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging maintenance technologies
  • Support and work with PLCs and industrial robotic systems, including ABB, Fanuc, and Yaskawa, as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or relevant certification preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of electro-pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing PLCs and industrial automation equipment preferred
  • Familiarity with robotic platforms such as ABB, Fanuc, and Yaskawa highly desirable
  • Ability to work safely with PLCs and safety circuit systems
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical schematics and engineering drawings
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as required
  • Fluency in English required; bilingual English/Mandarin skills strongly preferred
