Inventory Control Associate
Direct Hire Opportunity!
Location: Flower Mound, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Compensation: $19-$23 hour

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting in the maintaining of the company’s inventory perpetuals within the ERP system. The position duties are a critical part of the company’s revenue and procurement processes. The accuracy of our inventory is key to our ability to confidently make commitments to our customers and to be able to meet their expectations. Additionally, the level of this individual’s performance can have a significant impact on our relationships with our financial partners and audit firms.

Essential Functions & Duties: 
• Assist in maintaining the accuracy of the perpetual inventory within the distribution centers.
• Perform daily cycle counts through the ERP system.
• Working closely with Inventory Control and warehouse team members, assist to identify, research, track and provide detailed information for analysis of customer reported shipping issues. This involves gathering needed data for a thorough and complete analysis to determine the underlying cause as well as the corrective actions needed.
• Process customer returns and/or prepare destruction of rejected material.
• Assist with completing and documenting manufacturer returns.
• Working closely with Inventory Control and warehouse team members, assist to identify, research, track and provide detailed information for analysis of inventory variances. This process involves gathering needed data for a thorough and complete analysis to determine the underlying cause as well as the corrective actions needed.
• Assist in serial number verification pertaining to customer reported and inventory issues.
• Assist in the unloading, staging, and processing of inbound receipts to ensure accuracy into the ERP system against outstanding Purchase Orders, using appropriate materials handling equipment as needed.
• Assist in the staging, processing, and loading of outbound shipments, using appropriate materials handling equipment as needed.
• Work together with fellow warehouse personnel to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Comply with OSHA and other appropriate standards.
• Operate material handling equipment with extreme care keeping in mind the safety of one’s self as well as others in the work area in accordance with company policy.
• Follow documented ERP procedures as they relate to transactions within area of responsibilities.
• When applicable, maintain organized records of storage and distribution transactions.
• Continuously strive to improve processes, service quality to internal and external customers.
• Adheres specifically to all company policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations, and laws.

Required Experience:
• Experience in the warehousing and distribution of pharmaceutical products is preferred.
• Must have at least one (1) year experience in Warehouse Operations (receiving, inventory control, and shipping).
• Must have experience on material handling equipment (i.e. 3-4000 lb. capacity forklift and reach truck).
• Must be familiar with automated perpetual inventory systems and be able to conceptualize the impact their transactions have on the various automated business processes.
