OnTrack Staffing has partnered with our client in on their search for an Industrial Painter.
Location: Lewisville, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Pay: $18 hour
Responsibilities:
- Conforming to all safety guidelines and wearing required PPE
- Willing to work with others to reach a common goal
- Cleaning, washing, stripping, and sanding surfaces to prepare them for painting
- Using brushes, spray equipment, or other tools to apply paint, enamel, lacquer, or other coatings
- Ensuring the paint job meets company standards and extends the life of the structure
- Cleaning and maintaining painting and coating equipment, ventilation, compressed air, and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Skills & Qualifications:
- Be proficient with a variety of painting techniques and tools
- Be able to adjust quickly to changes in schedules, environment, or task requirements
- Be familiar with different types of paint and understand their chemical properties
- Be able to follow safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment
- Be able to read and comprehend instructions, write simple correspondence, and present information to others
