OnTrack Staffing has partnered with our client in on their search for a CNC Technician.
Summary: Be part of a technical engineering team where collaboration and innovation occur. You will play a pivotal role in the CNC production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Create and modify software programs based on project specifications for CNC Machines for all product lines.
- Create CAD drawings of doors for employees and customers using AutoCAD software.
- Interpret customer machine sheets and hardware templates.
- Create stage sheets and machine sheets for production as necessary.
- Communicate via email or phone with customers to clarify order details.
- Work within QuickBooks to update customer orders.
- Collaborate with department heads, managers, and other stakeholders to fully understand the tasks that must be accomplished by the software requested.
- Analyze, review, and revise programs as needed to increase operating efficiency or adapt program to new requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation of program development and revisions.
- Collect production data for analytics as requested.
- Manage the maintenance and tooling for all CNC Machines and frame line.
- Provide training to CNC operators.
Education & Experience:
- 2 year Technical Degree required or equivalent education and experience.
- 3-5 years CNC programming and processing software experience preferred.
Skills:
- 3D modeling experience a plus
- G-code knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of millwork machinery preferred.
- Knowledge of CNC cutting tool physics and mechanics.
- Thorough knowledge of specialized cutting tool selection.
- Ability to read, write and perform basic-intermediate math.
- Ability to write reports, document processes and procedures.
- Proficient in use of CAD/CAM software, Autodesk preferred.
Schedule: Monday-Friday day shift
Pay: $17-$23 hour based on experience
Location: Aubrey, TX
