OnTrack Staffing has partnered with our client in on their search for an Assembler.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Receive instructions, prints, sketches, and work orders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, and plans the assembly operation.
- Gather and assist in gathering piece parts and hardware to be used in the assembly.
- Assembly parts into sub-assemblies according to detail drawings using hand tools.
- Read work orders.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and employees of organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned, such as assist in inventories, housekeeping, and cross-training.
- Job requires lifting and stacking to various levels.
Skills Needed:
- Must be fast paced, detail oriented, reliable, organized, efficient, adaptable and able to work well with others on the team.
- Must be able to learn quickly, have good communication skills, and be self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Must have good vision and manual dexterity.
- Must be able to work on your feet for 6 – 8 hours at a time.
- Must be able to lift and manipulate 15 lbs.
- Must be able to use and operate hand and power tools.
