The Process Technician is responsible for monitoring our production lines, ensuring high efficiency and zero-defect output. As a PE Technician, you will be the technical bridge between the engineering office and the production floor and execute quick fixes for minor process issues and escalate major abnormalities to engineers.
Key Responsibilities
•Process Monitoring: Monitor production lines to ensure all process parameters (temp, pressure, speed, etc.) are within defined specifications
•Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve real-time process deviations and machine alarms to minimize downtime.
•Data Collection & Analysis: Collect production data and perform basic statistical analysis (SPC) to track yield and quality trends.
•Support Experiments (DOE): Assist engineers in conducting Design of Experiments (DOE) and pilot runs for new products or processes.
•Standard Operating Procedures (SOP): Ensure all line activities follow SOPs and provide feedback for document optimization.
Qualifications
•Experience: Minimum 1 year of electronics manufacturing experience; preferably in engineering ODM (original design manufacturing) environment•
Education:
- Associate degree in an engineering field preferred, or High School diploma with equivalent technical experience. (Bachelor’s degree is not mandatory).•
- Software Skills: Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office (Word for reporting, Excel for data entry and tracking).
- Chinese/Spanish: Preferred. Proficiency in Chinese or Spanish is a plus for cross-regional communication
