Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Setup/Repack Technician to join our pharmaceutical packaging team. The Setup/Repack Technician will be responsible for setting up packaging machinery, performing repackaging tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of packaging processes. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Setup: Prepare and set up packaging machinery according to production specifications and schedules.
- Repackaging: Perform repackaging tasks, including labeling, sealing, and inspecting products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on packaging equipment to prevent downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly to maintain continuous production.
- Quality Control: Monitor packaging and repackaging processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine setups, repackaging activities, maintenance, and any issues encountered.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality assurance, and warehouse teams to optimize packaging and repackaging processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or packaging industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
