We are seeking electronic technicians
Under minimal supervision, the technician performs updates on assemblies throughout production to latest revision levels. Satisfies customer requirements by testing incoming equipment for deficiencies, troubleshooting to analyze moderately complex repair needs, repairing or upgrading product and retesting to confirm operating condition.
Technician Responsibilities/Duties:
• Tests, updates, refurbishes and repairs electromechanical devices using test stations and other equipment or tools.
• Visually inspects product for damage, date, serialization or other identifiers.
• Diagnoses problems, which may include minor soldering tasks.
• Logically troubleshoots electronic and electromechanical equipment and may use automated projection testing equipment to identify problems and rework equipment
• Interfaces with other Technicians and Engineers to resolve problems.
• May assist with the development of repair processes and procedures.
• Responsible for achieving daily/weekly production goals.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Education/ Work Experience:
• Associates Degree in Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in electronic-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting
• Must have a “can-do” approach to every challenge and be a problem solver.
• Must be able to articulate verbally and in writing to clarify and resolve problems on all products.
