Job Title: First Shift Assembly Technician
Shift: Second Shift (4:00PM-Finish)
Pay: $18.75 per hour
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our second shift team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling axles for large vehicles, ensuring all components meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble axles and related components using hand and power tools.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Inspect parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
- Operate machinery and equipment used in the assembly process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work the second shift and overtime as needed.
