We are seeking an Experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician for our client in Oklahoma City!
This will be a weekend shift which will consist of working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3am to 5:30pm.
The pay will range from $25.00-$28.00 per hour depending on experience.
This is a safety sensitive position and will require a clean background, drug screen, and verifiable experience.

Technical Skills
- Cookers
- Knowledge of steam systems, including pressure controls and valves.
- Ability to troubleshoot temperature control systems, burners, and steam leaks.
- Blenders and Mixers
- Understanding of mechanical components like motors, bearings, seals, and agitators.
- Proficiency in disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly to maintain sanitary conditions.
- Food Depositors
- Experience with pneumatic systems used in depositing mechanisms.
- Skill in calibrating and adjusting settings for portion control and accuracy.
- RTE Tray Filling Equipment
- Familiarity with automated filling systems, conveyors, and sealing equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain motors, belts, sensors, and actuators.
- Labelers and Packaging Equipment
- Knowledge of labeling systems, including sensors, print heads, and adhesive mechanisms.
- Ability to align and configure labelers for different packaging types and formats.
Food Safety and Sanitation
- Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) guidelines.
- Skill in maintaining and sanitizing equipment to prevent contamination.
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics
- Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools like multimeters, thermal imaging cameras, and vibration analyzers.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis (RCA) techniques to minimize recurring failures.
Preventive and Predictive Maintenance
- Work order completion to support preventive maintenance schedules for high-use food processing equipment.
- Experience with predictive maintenance technologies like condition monitoring and lubrication analysis.
- Understanding of downtime tracking and ways to improve equipment uptime.
Electrical and Mechanical Knowledge
- Proficiency in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting and basic programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, wiring, and control panels.
- Mechanical skills, such as repairing gear systems, belts, chains, and bearings.
Communication and Teamwork
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with production teams, supervisors, and engineers.
- Ability to learn and train operators on equipment use and minor troubleshooting.
Computer Skills
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking and scheduling maintenance activities.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools for reporting and documentation.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including handling heavy equipment and tools.
- Willingness to work in cold or hot food processing areas as needed.
Certifications and Training
- Food Safety Certification (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent).
- Training in lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and machine guarding.
- Certification in refrigeration systems (if required for cooling units associated with food processing).
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as FDA and USDA requirements.
