Job Title: Area Manager – Construction

Location: Ardmore, Oklahoma

Job Type: Full-Time- DIRECT HIRE- Safety Sensitive

Salary: DOE- $75-$100K

Reports To: Regional Manager/Director of Operations

Job Summary: The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple construction projects within a designated geographic area. This role involves managing project teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining strong client relationships. The Area Manager will also be responsible for budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects within the assigned area.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor project managers, site supervisors, and other staff. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets. Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules. Ensure timely completion of all project milestones.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all projects meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture. Ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site.
  • Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients. Address any concerns and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, financial performance, and any issues or risks.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency in project management software, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and safety regulations.
  • Certifications: PMP, OSHA, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Working Conditions:
