Description: OnTrack Staffing is looking for a car wash operator in Brunswick, GA. Maintain and operate the car wash and pump room. Insure the quality and efficiency of the pump room by monitoring tanks, pumps, gauges, PH monitor, as well as complete the Car Wash Operator’s Inspection Log. Benfits from day 1! To talk to our recruiters, please contact, email@example.com or call us at 912-215-7333 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Operate and maintain the car wash by turning equipment on and off daily, performing minor maintenance to equipment, and by checking gauges, pumps and tanks to insure they are at proper operating levels. Complete daily the Car Wash Operator’s Inspection Log. In an efficient and thorough manner clean inside of cars as required by manufacturer. Clean up work area by properly disposing of all trash and wash cleaning cloths as instructed. Drive cars as necessary through car wash, to proper point of rest. Exercise due care and caution while driving, observe all safety precautions and speed limits. Accounts for cars processed at the end of a shift. Must have a spotter when backing up vehicles. Maintain a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety. Perform other duties as assigned. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Must be DRUG FREE. High school diploma or GED. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge). Must provide a 3-year Department of Motor Vehicle Report (DMV) with no more than 2 moving violations, no DUI convictions and no Reckless Driving. Prior experience in the Detail Shop preferred. Ability to effectively communicate, understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to record and verify numbers 17 characters in length. Ability to drive both automatic and straight shift vehicles. Ability to function within working conditions and physical requirements described above. Ability to work assigned hours. Including overtime and weekends as needed. Must be able to reach, lift and endure long periods of standing, kneeling and bending. Must be able to work with and around chemicals. WORKING CONDITIONS: Exposed to all outdoor elements including heat, cold, rain, insects and other conditions which may exist from time to time. Must be able to work with water and chemicals which may require periodic use of protective clothing including gloves, goggles, face shield, coveralls and dusk mask.
